SmartStep presents a wonderful complement to AccuBite. Even more discreet than AccuBite, SmartStep is an insole-embedded activity monitor. The wearer simply slips the SmartStep insole into his or her shoe and goes about his or her day. SmartStep then continuously monitors the wearer’s activity and, similar to AccuBite, analyzes both short- and long-term trends in the wearer’s physical activity and caloric burn. Taken together with the AccuBite, this pair of products allows one to track and balance caloric intake and expenditure with a bare minimum of effort. Beyond that, SmartStep provides all of the comfort and arch support of the best available insoles.
